The Fall Workshop is now full.
Please check back for Spring announcements.

This class will teach contemporary vocalists how to take their performance skills to the next level with hands-on experience in a real, stage environment.

Stage, lights, sound system, audience and a professional accompanist give you a real performance experience every class. Plus, you'll perform in a fun, final concert followed by an informal reception.

Professional, supportive instruction will guide you as you gain confidence on stage, try out new material (or even a new style!), polish your movements and expression, work out stage fright/nerves, refine your performance skills and much more!

Who should take this class?
Contemporary-style vocalists: singer-songwriters, jazz vocalists, musical theatre/cabaret singers, folk/pop/rock singers, etc.

About the Instructors
I'll be there to work with you and you'll perform/work with one of the area's finest accompanists/arrangers (and all around great guy!), Mike Maher. Mike is well versed in jazz, and is a "reading" pianist, so bring those lead sheets, chord charts and musical theatre/cabaret song folios with you - he does it all! Mike has been music director, arranger, pinaist and conductor for major musical events throughout the country. Including conducting and music directing our recent concert event together opening for the fabulous Bob Newhart. Mike is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing banjo and mandolin for the Carolina Mountin Band.

Dates: November 5, 12, 19 December 3, 10
Time:
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Cost: $280 (includes concert/reception on December 10)
